My only gripe with Blazblue was that its otherwise fascinating story was nearly impossible to follow due to somewhat clunky storytelling, but Chronophantasma solves that issue by offering a twenty hour long visual novel (with a few fights here and there) to clear things up, and it works brilliantly.
Blazblue’s game-play may be amazing, but I’m totally staying with the series for the plot at this point. That said, I’d still have appreciated more game-play and challenge in the story mode.
