[Game] Blazblue: Chronophantasma

Blazblue Chronophantasma

My only gripe with Blazblue was that its otherwise fascinating story was nearly impossible to follow due to somewhat clunky storytelling, but Chronophantasma solves that issue by offering a twenty hour long visual novel (with a few fights here and there) to clear things up, and it works brilliantly.

Blazblue’s game-play may be amazing, but I’m totally staying with the series for the plot at this point. That said, I’d still have appreciated more game-play and challenge in the story mode.

Beautiful, colorful 2D visuals
Almost no game-play in the story mode
Good music
Awful English localization
Likable, interesting characters
Mind-blowing, complex sci-fi setting
Intricate, awesome story
Awesome fighter game-play
Great multiplayer
