[Novel] For Whom the Bell Tolls (Ernest Hemingway)

I’m not the biggest fan of Ernest Hemingway, but this depiction of Spanish Civil War and absurdity of conflict is definitely my favorite work of his so far.

Relatively interesting, profound characters	Characters and prose tend to ramble from time to time killing the pacing
Relatively interesting plot	The romance feels a bit shallow
Enlightening on the history of Spanish Civil War
Thought-provoking on war and absurdity of conflict
