I’m not the biggest fan of Ernest Hemingway, but this depiction of Spanish Civil War and absurdity of conflict is definitely my favorite work of his so far.
|Relatively interesting, profound characters||Characters and prose tend to ramble from time to time killing the pacing|
|Relatively interesting plot||The romance feels a bit shallow|
|Enlightening on the history of Spanish Civil War|
|Thought-provoking on war and absurdity of conflict|
