I had forgotten how strong the cast in the original Disgaea was, and although D2 felt a bit more like a fan disc than a full-fledged sequel, I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end, and was genuinely impressed by what they did with Etna’s character.
|Charming artwork||Feels more like a fan disc than an actual sequel|
|Cool, unique music||Doesn’t attempt anything new game-play wise|
|Extremely likable, quirky characters||Fairly short compared to other games in the series|
|Adds a surprising amount of depth to Etna’s character||A bit on the easy side if you have played the prequels|
|Interesting plot||Most of side stuff is tedious and extremely time consuming|
|Genuinely funny humor|
|Proven, solid SPRG game-play|
