Although the idea of an actor impersonating a politician on Mars is quite fascinating and sets the stage for Heinlein to discuss some of his political ideas, Double Star definitely pales in comparison to his other works, ending up as more of a forgettable political thriller than a timeless tractate on interplanetary politics and high-brow sci-fi ideas I grew to expect from Robert A. Heinlein.
Positive: | Negative: |
