[Novel] 1632 (Eric Flint)

1632A fairly historically accurate depiction of a town of endearing American hillbillies getting transported to 1632 Germany.

Positive: Negative:
Fascinating concept of trying to adapt to a different era of history Feels more like a string of random set-pieces rather than a full-fledged story
Likable characters Some action scenes are suspect to the suspension of disbelief
Historically accurate The strong vibe of American nationalism might rub some people the wrong way
Enlightening on medieval politics and culture
