Light-hearted speculative science fiction mostly concentrating on interpersonal relationships and, I suppose, romance in a somewhat peculiar setting. Neither science, nor the relationships, nor the conversational writing style stand out too much, but it’s definitely not a bad book.
Positive: | Negative: |
Interesting, somewhat mysterious setting, initially at least | Conversational writing style offers little opportunity for memorable prose |
A few interesting but relatively light-hearted speculative science fiction ideas | Characters aren’t particularly interesting |
A fair analysis of the relationship of the three leading characters | Plot is not particularly captivating |
Story is not particularly remarkable in any way |
