One Piece didn’t particularly impress me in my teens, but unlike Naruto and Bleach, I actually ended up watching it into adulthood and learned to appreciate its imagination and the sense of adventure it provides despite its dumb and superficial storytelling and a lack of genuinely emotional moments.
