A fairly standard adventure through a huge if not particularly original world. Likable characters and well-written dialogue carries this game along, but I felt it lacked a bit of punch to the story to make itself truly memorable.
|Surprisingly endearing 2D sprites||Low quality artwork|
|Fantastic OST||The world, while fleshed out and huge, just isn’t that fantastic or interesting|
|Sense of adventure||Most of the good guy characters are painfully stereotypical and boring|
|Interesting, likable, relatively profound characters (Estelle, Joshua, villains)||Lots of tedious town exploration and menial long-winded conversations dilute an otherwise interesting plot|
|Very-well written dialogue||Recycles lots of content (damn towns)|
|Relatively satisfying turn-based game-play|
