The Plague (Albert Camus)

Penguin 1960The book has no real plot to speak of, but it’s still an amusing, thought-provoking experience.

Positive: Negative:
Crisp prose Due to nature intrinsically predictable
Realistic likable characters Nothing particularly exciting happens throughout the plot
Thought-provoking about isolation, death and, inevitably, life
