Lightning (Dean Koontz)

362px-LightningKDean Koontz must have never met a child in his entire life.

At first I thought it was pretty awkward when a twelve year old girl started speaking about her sexuality in a manner of a middle-aged housewife, but after an eight year old who happens to be an avid fan of Star Trek and Robert A. Heinlein started explaining the paradoxes of time travel I just wanted to smack the guy.

Positive: Negative:
Flowing simple prose Pulp fiction
Likable characters Not scary
Fast pace Feels derivative of other works
A couple of good twists
Children characters are very awkward
Time travel is used in a good entertaining manner
