The Thief of Always

ThiefOfAlwaysThe Thief of Always might not be the most memorable of Clive Barker’s works I’ve read, but its fast pace, fascinating atmosphere and fine story make for a very good short read. It does target younger audience though.

Positive: Negative:
Eloquent, dreamy prose Not particularly memorable
Surreal dreamy creepy atmosphere The later half feels a bit too much Deus Ex Machina driven
Good fast pace Pulp fiction
