Neuromancer (William Gibson)

NeuromancerThe story is pretty simplistic if you take the fascinating cyberpunk trimming away. That trimming is enough to warrant reading a book though. The guy knows his computers.

Positive: Negative:
Fantastic dystopian setting Prose gets nigh undecipherable at times
Well written character interactions Characters are moved by the plot rather than making their own decisions
Gripping plot
Simplistic story about cyber-crime
Thought-provoking on the future of information technology
Predictable ending
