The main highlight is definitely the novel’s characters, especially the killers, as despite coming off very authentic they are also extremely complex and fascinating individuals. The plot might feel a bit dull at times and some of its revelations can come off as underwhelming, but that’s just the nature of the real world. Nonetheless, expecting something akin to a documentary I was really pleasantly surprised by a couple of amazing twists I admit I didn’t see coming.
Definitely worth a read if you are interested in criminal minds, particularly psychopathy.
